The emerging trend of taking family photographs in a photosession done by professionals in a setup surrounding; like a studio, park, bed, living room; has more transparently pointed out the crisis of the institution of family. The composition and the mood of the family members on those photographs perfectly depict affectation and denial, an illusion of closeness.

 

The wish to make an impression of perfection overpowers any kind of spontaneity; therefore a family portrait becomes an object of pure autosuggestion.
